MediaShout® v4 Presentation Software MediaShout® Version 4 combines time-saving tools and a streamlined workspace with the comprehensive list of features you’ve come to expect from the premiere ministry presentation system. From basic worship presentations to intricate multimedia experiences, Version 4 connects your creativity with powerful tools to communicate life’s most important message. MediaShout® 4 transforms your Windows PC or Windows enabled Mac into a complete media-for-ministry delivery console: Play any media at any time, in any order. Instantly. That's the key. Instant access to more kinds of media than any other presentation software. You can create your presentation more quickly and easily than you ever have been able to in the past. But more importantly, if something changes -it's not a problem. A lyric, Bible verse, video or graphic is just a click away. And you never have to interrupt what is already happening on the screen to do it. Display your texts over full motion backgrounds, add soundtracks, create announcement loops, or use media to add depth of understanding to a message or song. There is no limit to what you can do. MediaShout® presentation software has been designed to help your church, youth group, Sunday School class, missions team, worship team, or Christian organization to share life's most important message as effectively as possible. Today we are surrounded by hundreds of media messages every day. Very few penetrate our minds and go straight to our heart. New in Version 4: - Simple Workspace
- 50+ Bible Translations
- Drag-And-Drop Formatting
- PowerPoint™ Import
- VJ-friendly Background Mode
- Stage Display Confidence Monitor
- Much More!
Features: Background Mode - To accomplish this real-time artistic expression, the visual worship leader needs not only visual content, but the tools to use this content in real-time. MediaShout® Version 4 adds a tool we call Background Mode to provide this flexibility. In a nutshell, Background Mode allows you to instantly change background content behind text. While playing a script, simply turn on Background Mode from the Cue or File Deck and begin to play media from the Decks. While in Background Mode, MediaShout® continues to play lyrics, Scripture and other text foregrounds, but ignores pre-scripted background content and plays only the media content selected by you. When you're ready to go back to pre-scripted backgrounds, simply click Normal Mode and play a cue containing background media. It is truly one of the coolest features for the visual artist. In addition to Background Mode, we've also added the ability to change scripted backgrounds without opening the Cue Editor. Simply drag-and-drop a media file from the Decks onto a cue and you'll be prompted to 'Replace Background Media'. Stage Display - Stage Display is one of the hottest features we're bringing in Version 4. As the above image depicts, MediaShout now has the ability to not only display presentations to your audience while being able to visually control things behind the scenes, but now provides the option of sending a clean feed to your worship team and other on-stage personnel, where smaller monitors may make the audience feed hard to read. Stage Display takes the text from your Main Display and (in default mode) copies to the Stage Display in a larger white font style over a plain black background for maximum readability. This default text may also be replaced by your own custom text to provide teleprompter functionality. The Stage Display capability is made possible through the use of a third video card. While this involves a simple hardware install on desktop computers, laptops only ship with a maximum of 1 unique output in addition to the laptop display. Time Triggers - This new command type can be assigned to its own cue or as part of another cue, but acts similarly in both cases. Time Triggers record your advance through a script and allow this to be played back automatically. For example, add an mp3 soundtrack to a lyric cue and set the cue to automatically send lyrics to the screen in time with the music. To expand on this a bit, there are actually two types of time triggers: Media and Timer. The difference comes down to the reference. A media time trigger uses a time-based-media clip (audio/video/flash/etc) as its reference, while timer time triggers use a basic timer. With both of these triggers, simply click 'Record' to start the reference media or timer and then advance through one or more pages or cues. Each advance is then recorded and saved. Click the 'Stop Recording' button when you're done, and you're all set. While some time trigger uses lend themselves to the more advanced user, beginners will find these triggers useful when putting together slideshows and soundtracks. Elements Deck - While you've always been able to right-click and 'Insert' a specific cue-type into your Script, Version 3 added a small row of icons to the bottom of your workspace that performed the same function without the pain of clicking and browsing. That row of icons works really well until you wind up with 50 cue-types you can choose from. While we don't quite have 50 yet, we did find a better way for you to quickly access the type of cue you need to insert. Since 'Cue-Type Deck' doesn't sound that good and makes for a really long name, we've chosen 'Elements Deck'. Much like elements of the periodic table, which are the basic building blocks of our universe, cues are the basic building blocks of MediaShout, so we put them in an Elements Deck. Simply drag the icon from your Elements Deck and drop it into the Script. Section Cue - Section Cues are pretty self-explanatory, in that they allow multiple Cues to be grouped into sections, providing for a simplified Script view. After inserting a Section Cue and dragging specific cues into that section, you can then expand or collapse the Section Cue, in turn showing or hiding all cues in that section from view. One of the most common uses for Section Cues are photo slideshows. Instead of scrolling past 108 images to edit other items at the bottom of your script, you can now move those photos into a Section Cue and collapse the view, reducing your script once again to a manageable length. PowerPoint™ Import tool! - Version 4 will include a 'PowerPoint Import' tool, guiding you through the process of converting a PowerPoint file into a lyric, text or graphic cue, with the added option of saving the existing backgrounds as separate graphic files. Since lyrics are the most commonly imported type, we'll walk you through step-by-step: - Select the slides you want to import & resulting Cue Type (lyric, text, graphic)
- Tag the resulting text as song data (title, author, copyright, CCLI number)
- Tag the remaining text by stanza and determine Play Order

Testimonies: "We started using MediaShout® about a year ago, after our Pastor of Student Ministries attended a youth conference in California where MediaShout® was being utilized. When I jumped in and started to learn, I couldn't believe how easy it was to use. I was able to teach the basics to my tech people within a few minutes. I have been so happy with the results we have achieved." -- Duane Kraaikamp Director of Worship Ministries Prairie Tabernacle Congregation "I just wanted to get in contact with you and share a little about our ministry. RESPOND worship engagements happen on the last Sunday of every month, and typically draw 250-350 students. The Respond worship band also has several opportunities on a monthly basis to travel abroad and lead worship for various venues. Since the beginning, we have exclusively used MediaShout® as our presentation software. Our technicians have mastered the program, and refuse to use anything else... due to its superiority over the others! When we travel, MediaShout® goes with us. When we put on our monthly Respond events, MediaShout® is used exclusively. We've also implemented MediaShout® fully into our home church and youth ministry. All this is to say, that we are 'gung ho' on MediaShout." --Cameron Smith Co-Founder/Visionary Respond Ministries System Requirements Windows XP or Vista 1.8GHz Dual Core Processor (or equivalent) 2GB RAM Multiple Video Cards (DirectX 9+) 128MB VRAM
