Intelix AVO-V1-ST-F Composite Video Balun

The Intelix AVO-V1-ST-F balun is an ideal solution for transmitting composite video over structured cabling, such as Cat 5. Used in pairs, AVO-V1-ST-F baluns replace bulky coaxial cable and are perfect for security and video signage applications. The AVO-V1-ST-F's spring tension connections allow the transmission of four devices over a single cable. The Intelix AVO-V1-ST-F is sold in pairs.

Example System

Example System 1: The video from two remote security cameras is routed to a switcher via four AVO-V1-ST-F baluns. 2200 feet of Cat 5 cabling connects the baluns. Because the AVO-V1-ST-Fs feature spring tension and not RJ45 connectors, the Cat 5 cable shield must be stripped back so that the four individual cable pairs are accessible. Example System

Example System 2: The video from three remote security cameras is routed to a digital video recorder (DVR) via five AVO-V1-ST-F baluns and one V1-AR-F balun; the V1-AR-F is used for an extended Cat 5 run of 5000 feet. Because the AVO-V1-ST-Fs feature spring tension and not RJ45 connectors, the Cat 5 cable shield must be stripped back so that the four individual cable pairs are accessible.
