Rane PEQ 55 Dual Band Parametric Equalizer The PEQ 55 is equal parts problem solver, creative tool and secret weapon. Rane's dual-channel PEQ 55 features five bands of fully parametric equalization, adjustable High-Cut and Low-Cut Filters, and three bands of Accelerated Slope Tone controls per channel. Front panel controls select between dual mono 5-band, stereo linked 5-band or stereo linked 10-band operating modes.  Analog-Controlled Digital Analog parametric equalizers have been used for years in applications ranging from corrective equalization in sound reinforcement systems to creative equalization in live sound, broadcast and recording. Many fixed install applications are well served by computer based, dead-front DSP solutions. However, applications requiring a performer or sound engineer to make creative adjustments, in real time, are best served by analog-controlled-digital products.
